​Furuya: ​That was ONF’s ON/OFF, a single from their debut album. Today I want to introduce a 7-member rookie boy group who debuted in Korea last August, ONF. They visited Japan for the first time last March 12 and held their first fanmeeting “Lights On in Japan.” They gathered 2000 fans on their two-part fanmeeting that was filled with excitement.

​Furuya: They are produced by Korean agency WM Entertainment, home to artists B1A4 and Oh My Girl, which made them gain attention even prior to debut. They had 20,000 followers on their official Twitter after a month into their debut.

​Furuya: ONF is composed of Hyojin, E-Tion, J-Us, Wyatt, MK, U, and Laun. Fresh and cute visuals, topped with refined vocals and perfomance. They also received good comments from a survival program in Korea, where all the members had high ranks. They’re one of the most anticipated boy groups this 2018, and they will be making their Japan debut this summer.

​Furuya: ​Before that, they are having an interview on-air with Refill Korea! First off, please introduce yourselves. Introduce your charms as a group and individually in Japanese.

​Laun:​ This is Laun. ON team has a bright image and complete vocals. The members are leader Hyojin, E-Tion, and MK. On the other hand, OFF team has contrasting charms with ON team. They’re a team that shows powerful perfomances. Also, there are two leaders in ONF. As for me, I’ll work hard in order to show charms from both teams so please cheer for us!

​MK: ​This is MK. My charm is my lemon voice.
​J-Us: ​This is J-Us. My charm is my pretty eyes.
​U: ​This is U. My charm is my powerful dance.

​Furuya​: I see. Laun is really good at Japanese. I heard he learns Japanese by watching animes, dramas, and movies. He’s really hardworking. So that’s ONF. Their seniors have been actively promoting in Japan for a long time. Did your seniors B1A4 gave you advices for your activities in Japan? Also let’s hear how you feel right now about your upcoming Japan summer debut.

​U: ​This is U. B1A4 seniors told us that wherever stage it may be, in order to appeal our skills and charms, don’t be nervous and (perform) how we usually would.

J-Us: ​This is J-Us. Our Japan debut feels like a dream. We’ll work hard on our Japan activities so we can attend various programs.

​Laun: ​This is Laun. ​Our debut is set in August. ​Our Japan activities depend on everyone’s support, so please support us.

​Furuya: ​It seems like you’ve become more busy because of your summer debut. ​For everyone’s information, they will be having a Korean comeback before their summer debut. I have introduced ONF today, everyone is good at Japanese.

​Furuya: ​Since they are rookies from WM Entertainment, I had high expectation. After meeting them personally, I came to understand their charms. They’re really refreshing and charming, and their performances are really awesome. Moreover, their songs have a mature feel and are urban, ​so I’m looking forward to their Korean comeback. Also I’m looking forward to what kind of songs they will release for their Japan debut, which will be summer of this year.
